sources are good (and they normally are), the Sixers might have wooed a Croc and a Taipan down to Naptown.
I suggested in several of my season previews the Sixers would be wise to sign one of Crawford, Bruton or James Harvey in the offseason. The Sixers major weakness last year was shooting from the bench and Crawf should help fix that. He's a solid defender, can stick the three and gives Adelaide more size that they had last year with the smallish backcourt of Gibson, Ervin, Cadee and Carter. While he's clearly in the twilight of his career, he could prove to be a very handy contributor off the bench with spot minutes.
This one I'm not as excited about. Wilson is 30 and had a pretty rocky season. Last season saw him have to adjust to coming off the bench and overall he had fairly mixed results. He had probably the best game his NBL career on March 1 against the Breakers (33/8/6) but also had some stinkers, resulting in a much-hyped Taipans outfit missing the playoffs. Luckily for him though he generally played well against Adelaide and must have caught Joey Wright's eye.
Wilson's strengths are his toughness and ability to get to the free throw line, where he's an excellent free throw shooter. He's a subpar three-point shooter though and can be turnover prone. Jamar can play but I'd rather see the Sixers thoroughly explore who is available overseas first.
