Sixers fans are playing the waiting game at the moment, waiting on......

Gibson declared to Boti Nagy that he's going to see who the Sixers appoint as their coach before making his decision. If Joey Wright or Brian Goorjian (highly unlikely) gets the nod I think he might hang around. Otherwise expect him to get to the Tigers. If Gibson's priorities are winning and developing his game he might be best hanging around if Adelaide nabs a highly credentialed coach.

Yet to resign but I can't see him leaving. Hard to know if he'll be fully fit and firing for the opening round and how he'll recover from an injury that has cut down many great careers.

Expect a coach to be named by early next week. Few whispers coming out but I'm sticking with my prediction of Joey Wright.

It's shaping up as a very interesting off-season. Besides what is happening in Adelaide, we may see the league's two powerhouses come back to the pack a little.

Have lost their coach but will promote long-time assistant Vickerman. Unlikely much will change with their game style but Boucher is gone and the club will be sweating on the plans of Cedric Jackson. CJ will be a year older.....a few question marks.

Like Perth, there's a strong chance they'll lose a championship coach and import MVP. Finding suitable replacements will be a challenge but Perth has the resources to get who they need to remain a playoff team.

Adelaide only missed the playoffs by a few games last year and should return to the playoffs if they can land a solid coach and some imports who can have an impact.
