The Good 36ers (Preview: 36ers v Kings 2/12/12)

The 36ers have been more "Jekyl and Hyde" than ever this year, getting beaten by bottom teams like Melbourne and Townsville and then beating Perth in back-to-back games. Sometimes they even do it in the one game, such as against Wollongong where they came out smoking and went ice cold after quarter time. Surely the "good" 36ers will show up tomorrow.

After their worst loss of the year to date against Melbourne, Adelaide returned home two days later and fought tooth and nail to overcome the Wildcats. They were keen to atone for what they'd served up two night before and this game presents exactly the same opportunity. Unlike last time though, they face an opponent who also suffered a rough loss two nights ago. Adelaide is backing up and had to fly from FNQ back to Adelaide while Sydney had to make the trek west and then get on another three hour flight to come to Adelaide. So who wins?

Adelaide beat Sydney a few rounds back on their home court and match up well against the Kings. They managed then to contain the Kings two most dangerous players in Henry and Madgen and there's no reason they can't do so again. Adelaide got big games out of Schenscher, Weigh and Cadee last time while DJ and Gibson were relatively quiet. The game also marked CJ's coming-to-life, with 9 points in just over 5 minutes. All things considered I expect Adelaide to bounce back and make amends for their setback Friday

Prediction: Adelaide by 15
