Poll Results

In our most recent poll we asked "Which New Player Will Have The Most Impact This Year"? The clear winner, understandably, was Adam Gibson who polled 54% of the vote. Gibson was key in both Adelaide wins and was down in our only loss against New Zealand. Gibson has shown he knows when to take more control of the team and picks his spots for when the team needs him to score. If Adelaide is to be a serious contender this year, Gibson will need to have an MVP-type year.

Second to Gibson was Schenscher. "Big Luke" hopefully turned the corner last week with a solid game against Cairns but to that point 36ers fans were worried. Despite his underwhelming start to the year, Schenscher is leading the league in rebounding and blocks, just showing how much more is expected of big fellas. His defense hasn't been the problem, it's been the amount of misses from inside 10ft that have been the frustration. He's had to create a lot of his baskets to this point inside but got a few "gimmes" from Jason Cadee Saturday which helped his confidence.

Third in votes was CJ Massingale with 12% of the vote. CJ has struggled mightily and at this point most 36er fans would welcome back Craig Winder with open arms. CJ is showing no confidence and is not contributing in other ways. It's not looking good for him. In this 8 team league there are no easy games and it's unlikely he'll get a chance to beat up on a weaker team. Will be interesting to see how the 36ers manage the situation from here.
