Cheers NBL! (Preview: Adelaide v Wollongong 25/3/12)

Tne NBL has done it to Adelaide again. Today Adelaide plays it's last game of the NBL regular season. It ain't gonna be easy. They take on the league's bottom team, which you'd normally welcome, but not this time. They play Wollongong for the 4th time this year, on their home court, in the farewell game for club legend and saviour, Matt Campbell. Adelaide has won both games in Adelaide comprehensively but lost the last time they played in Wollongong. So how can Adelaide win?

Adelaide must start fast and take the energy out of the building. We must go into Simpson and Johnson early and often and get some quick points on the board. Some early 3's would help too, especially from Chris Warren. CW had 25 last time they played at The Sandpit and will be keen to finish his season strong.

The crowd will be willing Campbell into a huge game. We mustn't allow him to touch the ball and he should be guarded by Creek or Herbert. Ideally we'll have him guarding Ng and Doc must run him ragged through continual screens.

Ng needs plenty of minutes and Herbie and Creek must be used as defensive stoppers on Ubaka and Campbell.

On paper Adelaide should win this, but it will be a finals like atmosphere in Wollongong and the whole team will lift for Campbell's finale. If Sav and Campbell turn back the clock, Forman gets hot and Catron hits his straps it could be a long day. Wollongong by15.
